Faith Build brings churches, faith communities, and individuals together to put God’s love into action, helping families achieve the dream of buying an affordable home.
This initiative is more than just building houses, it's about building relationships, sharing hope and strengthening the spiritual fabric of our community.
How It Works
GIVE
Fund a Home
Fully funding a Habitat home costs $150,000. Faith communities take up offerings, hold fundraisers and work together to help cover the financial costs of home construction.
Whether your congregation contributes a portion or fully funds a build, every dollar raised brings a family closer to homeownership.
SERVE
Construction Teams
No experience needed. Help with hands-on work like framing, siding, painting or landscaping. The scope of work for Faith Build will be shared at the annual spring Faith Build meeting. Volunteer workdays can be scheduled through Callie Vanlandingham.
CELEBRATE COMPLETION
Home Dedication
After a home is completed, we hold a dedication ceremony to celebrate the new beginning. Everyone is welcome to attend and join us in praying over the home, the family and the journey ahead.
