Nissan Donates Truck to HFHMCA
Nissan Canton Vehicle Assembly Plant and Habitat for Humanity Mississippi Capital Area (HFHMCA) today announced a new milestone in their long‑standing partnership with the donation of a Nissan Frontier pickup truck - built at the Nissan Canton Vehicle Assembly Plant - to the Habitat ReStore in Jackson, Mississippi. The gift marks the ReStore’s fourth anniversary and will directly support Habitat’s mission to build strength, stability, and self‑reliance through affordable homeownership.
The donated Frontier will be used by the ReStore team to pick up donated furniture, appliances, and building materials from across the Jackson area. These items are resold at affordable prices, with proceeds helping fund Habitat’s homebuilding and repair programs for local families.
“Supporting the communities where our employees live and work is at the heart of Nissan’s commitment to Mississippi,” said Josh Scott, Director, Manufacturing Operations. “The Habitat ReStore plays a vital role in strengthening neighborhoods, reducing waste, and helping families achieve safe, affordable housing. We’re proud that this Frontier will help expand their impact for years to come.”
